What sports programming do you offer?

NFL Sunday Ticket, NHL Center Ice, NBA League Pass, MLB Extra Innings, ESPN College Extra, many Boxing/UFC pay-per-views, Big Ten Network, SEC Network, PAC 12 Network, Longhorn Network, Fox Soccer and many more.  We have both DirecTV and Time Warner; feel free to e-mail us with any specific inquiries.

Where do I park?

Your best bet is to look for a meter spot just north of us along Broadway or Travis. Also, the pay lots are going to be cheaper around there compared to the Riverwalk area. EXCEPT TUESDAYS - now free parking after 5pm in city-owned garages, including the Nix(at College & Navarro) and St. Mary's & Travis, both within a few blocks of the Ticket.

What other entertainment do you have?

Pool, electronic darts, plus TWO retro multi-arcade games featuring nothing but classics including all varieties of Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Galaga, Frogger, Dig Dug, Defender, Joust, Robotron, Mario Bros. and many more absolutely FREE(no quarters or tokens necessary!).  These games were custom-built and play about as true to the original as possible(unlike most multicade games you will find).   If nothing else, the Ticket is an outstanding place to people watch with panoramic windows as well as shaded patio.

Happy Hour and late night we play 80s/90s/variety music videos on five of our screens.

Do you have free Wi-Fi?

What are your hours?

The Ticket Sports Pub opens at 4pm Mondays, 1pm Tues-Fri and 12 noon Sat-Sun(11am during football season).

What are your drink specials?

We have House Specials at all times including $3 domestic pints and $4 Fireball. Check the boards behind the bar or ask your bartender for more great drink deals!

How do you determine which game(s) to put sound on?

As a rule of thumb, the Spurs, Cowboys, and Longhorns take precedence over all others. After that we tend to go with the national game of interest or majority rules. We get fans from all over the place so we sometimes have no way to determine what the "big" game will be. You can always request our "hallway" TV which is away from our house sound system and has it's own separate volume.

Can tables be reserved?

Except for rare circumstances, it is first come first serve and as we are a fairly small bar, table space is limited. We have PLENTY of seats however and we strongly encourage a communal vibe so that most patrons are more than willing to share any extra table space. Don't be shy!

Is smoking allowed?

Only outside the patio. There is a vending machine inside with a small selection of cigarrettes as well as salty snacks, gum and mints.

Attention Yelpers and other online reviewers:

E-mail us w/any questions, comments or criticisms - we are glad to help, especially before you post a negative review.

Update 1/23/17 -  We truly go out of our way to provide an incredible sports-watching atmosphere.  It's what we pride ourselves on.  Very few Yelp reviews actually refer to the atmosphere.  By the same token, we do the best we can at providing friendly and prompt service, as well as quality food items at a reasonable price.  Most of the things written about the food are outright falsehoods.  We generally engage Yelpers who write bad reviews about service, and rarely do they cooperate with details and specifics that might actually help us address the alleged problems.  Many of these reviewers are extremely angry and seem intent on taking whatever experience they had personally, if they had any experience at all(many 1 star reviews come from "rival" bar owners/employees or other persons holding a grudge).  To summarize what we do and what we feel we ought to be judged on - we are all about sports, as well as providing a cleaner Cheers-type alternative to the many sketchy dive bars and tourist traps that tend to dot the landscape around here.  Aside from that, we certainly aren't perfect.
